There is no single price for a louvre awning; every one is built to the space it covers. But the things that move the number are predictable. Here is what shapes the cost, so you know what you are paying for.
Louvre awnings are quoted per project, not off a price list. A louvre roof is engineered to your span, the surface it fixes to and how exposed the site is, so a single advertised figure would only mislead. What follows are the factors that decide where your quote lands.
Size and span
Area is the biggest driver. A wider or deeper cover needs heavier aluminium sections and more support to carry the load, and that adds material and engineering. A small patio over a two-seater is a very different structure to a cover that spans the house to the boundary wall.
Manual or motorised
A hand-operated louvre awning is the most affordable way in. Adding a motor brings the motor itself, the controls and the wiring, so a motorised roof costs meaningfully more than the same roof cranked by hand. Many homeowners start manual and value the simplicity; others want the blades to close at the touch of a button.
Sensors and automation
Once a roof is motorised you can add rain and wind sensors that close the blades automatically, plus smart-home control and separate zones for larger areas. Each of these is convenience and protection at a premium, worth it for some homes and unnecessary for others.
Finish, site and extras
Colour and finish, difficult access, and any structural reinforcement the site needs all feed into the total.
