Shade on demand
Folding Arm Awnings

Any angle you like
Fall-arm awnings
The classic retractable window awning
Fall-arm awnings pivot from flat against the wall to a full kick-out, so the shade sits exactly where the sun is, and disappears when you want light back in the room. A light gearbox action makes adjusting effortless.
The canvas is imported French acrylic, Scotchgarded against the weather, and every moving fitting is aluminium, stainless steel or brass. Nothing rusts, nothing seizes.
Roll up, roll down
Drop blinds
Retractable weather protection for open sides
Drop blinds are the retractable answer for the sides of a patio or balcony: roll them down against wind, rain or low sun, roll them up and the opening is completely clear again.
Choose French acrylic canvas for shade and privacy, or clear PVC panels that shut out the weather without losing the view.

Fold-back pram awnings
Traditional looks, retractable manners
The classic curved pram awning is also available with a rope-and-pulley mechanism that folds the whole canopy back flat against the wall: full sun in winter, full shade in summer, and the same heritage look year-round.
- Scotchgarded French acrylic in a wide choice of colours and stripes
- Aluminium or meranti frames, made for SA sun and coastal air
- Made to measure for each door and window, fitted by the crew that measured it
Worth knowing before you buy
Folding arm awning, or louvre awnings?
Folding arm awnings are brilliant for windows, doors and smaller patios. For a large entertainment area you use in all weather, a louvre awning often serves better: it seals against hard rain, shrugs off wind that would force a fabric awning to retract, and never needs stowing.
- Choose a folding arm awning for shade on demand over windows, doors, balconies and small patios. It's the lighter, more affordable option.
- Choose louvre awnings for a permanent all-weather roof over the braai or pool terrace. Blades open to 82° and close rain-tight.
- Not sure? Our consultant looks at the space, the wind and the sun path, and quotes the option that actually fits. Free, no obligation.
Planning & pricing
The four factors behind a folding arm quote
A folding arm quote is set by the opening, the mechanism and the wind your wall lives with. The consultant prices all of it on site and puts it in writing, free.
Width & projection
The size of the opening and how far the awning reaches when extended set the frame, arms and fabric area.
Type & mechanism
Fall-arm, fold-back pram or roll-up drop blind: each uses a different frame and operating mechanism.
Fabric choice
Scotchgarded French acrylic canvas or clear PVC panels, priced per square metre from a wide colour and stripe range.
Wind exposure
Exposed and coastal sites need heavier fixing detail so the awning operates smoothly for years, not months.
- Engineered for South African wind zones: spans, fixings and supports are specified for your site's wind exposure in line with SANS 10160 wind-loading principles. Documentation for commercial and body-corporate projects on request.
- One accountable installer. We measure, manufacture and fit with our own teams, no subcontractors, so the quote you sign is the price you pay.
- Free on-site quote: a consultant measures your space and quotes in writing, with no obligation.
